Today didn't feel as bad as last night, even though we still did a lot of climbing. In Manning Park we hit the Allison Pass (1342m) and Sunday (1282m) summits.
Shortly before noon we finally came across Manning Park Resort... By the distance and amount of climbing, we wouldn't have made it the day before, even with the delays.
There were some pretty wicked descents coming out of the park. Ian is much more cautious in these parts, and Tyler may have learned his lesson when a quick windsheer almost pushed him into a guardrail!
Next stop on the road was Princeton for food and bike parts. But after some searching it turns out the only bike store in town recently moved to a little town we already passes. Our moods were a bit tight after this, but on Ian's suggestion we called ahead to the bike shop in Osoyoos and confirmed they had the tubes etc we need. Crises not averted, just minimized.
The road out of Princeton wasn't overly smooth at all! Not cracked or bulgy, just not smooth. But believe it or not, the shoulder was near perfect (for once).
After a quick search of a couple of actual camp sites (we wanted to get access to the river) we came across Gold Mt RV. Very nicely kept place, but the selling points were laundry and showers!
Being a proper site we didn't have to 'lay low' in, time was spent catching up on conversations, and tuning up the bikes.
Our only casualty for the day is the ever growing contrast of the 'farmers tan'
