We've gotten into a fairly effective routine. One will clean the site while the other will make up 'breakfast'. It was mainly downhill (>35km) to Creston but not at an excessive speed as we were matched with a wicked headwind.
Coming into Creston there was a significant change in landscape as we left the mountain side for a wide valley. In Creston we stopped for much needed showers and laundry! We were back in cell phone range and were able to contact our lady friends (each of us only having one lady friend, respectively) back home to check-in.
Leaving Creston we saw some of the worst road shoulders so far this trip. We wheeled into a rest stop for a break and stretch. We were approached by Sean Spencer. He is also traveling by bike, but has been at it for 11 months! His trip started in Toronto, down to Florida and then here.
It was a shorter day as our legs were a bit lacking in the "oomph" department from our climb yesterday. We settled in the Yahk BC Park for bike/kit checks and a personal wind down.

No sign of that smug butterfly today!
