A surprise cancellation at my fiancee, Shireen's research site means that I had the pleasure an escort out of Montreal.
We rode together until Charlmagne, where Shireen snapped a picture of me in front of a Celine Dion sign (she was born there, you know...) before we have lunch and say our goodbyes. Only two weeks before I'm done and home!
The road I travelled had a great deal of history to it, and my mind drifted back into the thinking that has occupied it during a great deal of this trip; that of our routes.
As I close in on Trois Rivieres, I came across Chloe and Nathalie, who were taking a circle ride from Montreal and back... and Chloe's was riding a fixy! We rode together until the city's downtown, where they headed off to the home of some relatives and I used the cover of darkness to hide myself and my tent in a waterfront park.
